And I’m excited to spend a week at Christikon in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana, leading their continuing education seminar and a Familfy Camp weekend full of worshipful play and playful worship that engages the body, mind, spirit, and voice.
Explore how our community gatherings (for worship, formation, and fellowship) can nurture creativity, freedom, and collaboration as we:
play and improvise with scripture and poetry
write our own prayers and songs
move and dance
engage in community learning that deepens and expands our awareness of the Holy One’s presence in our lives
Daily worship services will be the sandbox where we embody what we learn and welcome the gifts of our intergenerational community.
Bring an open heart and a curious mind! You may appreciate having a journal to reflect on what you notice as we worship, play, and learn together. And you’ve very welcome to bring an instrument if you’d like to share in planned and/or unstructured music making and improvisation throughout the session.
