Serving as the Executive Director of Music that Makes Community for the past eight years has been joyful and fulfilling work. I’ve met remarkable people, including many of you on this mailing list, and had the opportunity to facilitate experiences of learning and collaboration that have shaped my work as a church musician, consultant, and composer.

Over the past months, I began to discern it was time for a vocational shift. So with the blessing and support of the Board of Trustees, I conclude my service on December 1. My amazing colleague and friend Conie Borchardt will step into leadership and I’m excited for all that’s ahead for Music that Makes Community.
