I’m grateful to say all is very well. I’ve been focused on the work at hand, resting more, and continuing to discern where my skills and time are best shared.

This week I concluded 17 months as interim musician at The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. It has been gift to accompany this remarkable community through a lengthy season of transition, witnessing their growth in voice and spirit. Special thanks to Pastor Sarah, Pastor Rachel, the choir, and congregational leaders for their collaborative spirit, compassion, and creativity. It has been a joy to journey together!

What’s next for you?

I’ll serve as the full-time interim musician at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church beginning in September and look forward to collaborating with the pastors, staff, and congregation as they prepare to welcome a new musician. Bradley Hills has an outstanding music ministry and I’m excited to join them in this season of exploration and discernment.

I joined NEXT Church’s coaching bench in February 2024 and have been part of their prophetic Preaching for Change initiative. With NEXT’s support and encouragement, I am completing my Associate Coach Certification (ACC) through ICF. Shout out to Laurie Ferguson and Chip Low of Loaves and Fishes Coach Training for their excellent program!

While my availability for consulting and in-person work will be limited in the next year, it feels well-timed as I shift toward coaching and accompanying church leaders. I have the capacity for a handful of clients this fall and welcome the opportunity to partner with musicians, pastors, and others looking to focus and strengthen their ministry through coaching.
