I’ll be at Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center near Little Rock, Arkansas from April 6-9, 2024 to lead worship and workshops for Fernclipse, a four-day, three-night intergenerational Creation Care event centered on and culminating with the Total Solar Eclipse.

Sing Unto God and Music that Makes Community invite you to an Interfaith Community SING at Westmoreland UCC on Sunday, March 26 at 4 p.m. The afternoon of participatory singing will be led by Cantor Rosalie Will and Paul Vasile, dynamic song leaders and facilitators who work within their respective faith communities to empower songleaders and invite experiences of embodied, sung prayer.
Join Paul Vasile on Thursday, February 3 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time for a conversation about his recent article, "How Much Paper Does a Congregation Need?," reflecting on paperless music and its uses in worship.
I'll participate in Eden Seminary's Seventh Annual Psalm Festival, organized by Richard Bruxvoort-Colligan and Dr. Clint McCann.

Music That Makes Community is excited to offer our first Intergenerational MMC Weekend on September 21 and 22, sharing paperless music and leadership practices with families at Kirchenwald in Lebanon, PA! I'll be joined by Rebecca and Zachary Stevens-Walter (and their toddler!) to explore the basics of paperless ('oral tradition') music making, learn new songs to enrich and strengthen intergenerational community, and reflect on ways to encourage participatory singing within our families and faith communities.
We begin with family dinner and a Community SING on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m., sharing songs of justice, freedom and peace from many traditions, languages, and cultures.
After breakfast on Saturday, we'll explore the basics of paperless ('oral tradition') music making, share new songs to enrich and strengthen intergenerational community, and reflect on practices that encourage participatory singing within and outside worship. The relaxed but thoughtfully structured day includes large and small group learning sessions, community art making, snacks and lunch, as well as worship services modeling how intergenerational community can gather.
I'm honored to offer the final Hymn Sing of the Hymn Society's annual conference, using music and oral tradition leadership practices inspired by my work with Music That Makes Community. We'll gather at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri to explore the intersection of sacred song, the church, and the public square.
The festival is open to the public.
